Application: HFIP is a viscous, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is an ideal solvent for dissolving polyamides and esters, capable of dissolving polymers such as polyester, polyamide, and polyacrylonitrile,it is suitable for semiconductor manufacturing, photovoltaic industry, and electronic equipment cleaning.

It also can be used to analyze nylon and for waterproof and oil-proof coating treatment in the manufacturing of textiles, plastics and coatings. Under normal circumstances, a small amount of sodium trifluoroacetate can be added to the eluent to reduce sample aggregation.
