Product Overview |
Zinc Oxide (CAS No. 1314-13-2) is an inorganic metal oxide, by using the indirect method, the finished product has high purity, good whiteness, and fine particles. It widely used as a functional chemical intermediate in the production of rubber products, coatings & paints, and cosmetic raw materials. It is particularly suitable for the formulation of rubber vulcanizing agents, anti-corrosion paint systems and skin-care cosmetic formulations.
Zinc Oxide can also be used in ceramic materials, pharmaceutical additives and fertilizer raw-material systems, where its molecular structure can support excellent UV-shielding performance, good dispersibility, and formulation flexibility. Zinc-Oxide-based products are also used in selected rubber-plastic composites and environmental-protection material applications.
Our purity of the product can reach 99.8% to over 99.99%. Through process control, the content of heavy metal lead is stable at below 5 ppm, and the contents of iron and cadmium are both controlled at below 2 ppm. Various specifications ranging from 80 mesh to 500 mesh are available to meet the requirements of various industries.

Packaging & Storage |
Packaging: 25 kg/bag. Custom packaging can be discussed based on order quantity and transportation requirements.
Storage: It should be protected from direct sunlight, rain and high temperatures.
Storage & Handling Notes
For powdered Zinc Oxide, prolonged exposure to high‑humidity environment or direct moisture contact may cause the material to agglomerate and absorb moisture.Store in a dry, cool and well‑ventilated place. Keep containers tightly closed to avoid dust scattering and moisture ingress. Avoid excessive stacking pressure which may lead to compaction of powder bulk. Keep away from humid conditions and liquid water.

Applications of Zinc Oxide
Zinc Oxide (CAS 1314-13-2) is an inorganic metal oxide widely used as a functional filler and active building block in rubber, coating, cosmetic and ceramic formulations. Its special crystal-structure makes it particularly suitable for rubber vulcanization systems, anti-corrosion paint systems, UV-shielding cosmetic raw materials, and selected high-performance ceramic products.
Rubber Products & Rubber Compounding
Zinc Oxide is commonly used in the production of vulcanized rubber products. Its functional properties can support efficient vulcanization activation, good thermal conductivity, and formulation flexibility, making it suitable for general-purpose rubber applications.
Typical application areas include:
Tire rubber
Industrial rubber parts
Rubber hoses and belts
Footwear rubber materials
Latex products
Anti-corrosion & Functional Coatings
Zinc Oxide can be used in coating systems designed for anti-corrosion, weather-resistant, and decorative coatings. Zinc-Oxide-based coating formulations may provide a useful balance of processability and coating performance, including resistance to UV aging, moisture, and corrosion.
It is particularly suitable for formulations where good dispersibility, anti-mildew performance, and stable long-term coating durability are required.
Typical application areas include:
Anti-rust industrial coatings
Architectural paints
Marine protective coatings
Powder coatings
Cosmetic & Personal-care Raw Materials
Zinc Oxide is also used as an inorganic UV-filter component in skin-care and sun-care cosmetic formulations. These cosmetic systems are used in personal-care products requiring mild and stable UV-shielding performance.
Typical applications include:
Physical sunscreen products
Skin-care ointments
Baby care formulations
Ceramics & Other Industrial Fields
Zinc-Oxide-based formulations can be used in ceramic glazes, electronic materials and fertilizer additive applications, particularly where sintering-aid effect and long-term chemical stability are important performance considerations.
The final performance of Zinc Oxide in any compound or coating system depends on the complete formulation, particle size, processing conditions, mixing system, and intended end use. Customers should evaluate product suitability according to their specific formulation and application requirements.
